Sell unused brain processing cycles to the cloud
One way that individuals might start to explore and adopt BCI cloudmind applications is in a “starter application” idea of selling permissioned braincycles to the cloud.
This is a parallel concept to selling self-generated electricity from solar panels back into the power grid.
This initial and basic cloudmind application might involve the sharing of unused brain processing cycles.
The structure could be timesharing cognitive processing power during sleep cycles or other down time, conceptually similar to participating in community computing projects such as [email protected] or protein [email protected]
The idea would be to securely and unobtrusively share one’s own unused resources, downtime braincycles.
There could be diverse compensation models for this, including remuneration and donation.
